Arguineguín and Patalavaca have two real hotels, the four-star Sunwing Arguineguín and the Radisson Blu Resort, plus apartment complexes that work like hotels. Which is best depends on whether you want meals, a kitchen or a beach-front suite.
For a hotel with proper hotel services in Arguineguín itself, the choice is short: the four-star Sunwing Arguineguín (252 rooms) and the Radisson Blu Resort, Gran Canaria (189 rooms and suites, listed by Radisson as five-star). Add the apartment-hotel complexes, above all Servatur Green Beach in Patalavaca, and Anfi del Mar's apartment clubs, and you have most of what is here. The town is smaller and less built up than Puerto Rico, which is why the list is short.
We include only places whose operators or listings describe them clearly. Categories are given as the operators give them, not from the Canary Islands' official tourist register, and nightly rates are not quoted. The longer list for other towns is in hotels in Puerto Rico and Amadores and hotels in Puerto de Mogán.

Sunwing Arguineguín: the big family hotel
The Sunwing Arguineguín is a four-star hotel with 252 rooms. It is still trading under that name: in 2025 its owning company was sold to Premia Properties for €64 million, but the tour operator Nordic Leisure Travel Group (Ving, Spies, Tjäreborg) stays on as tenant under a 15-year lease. Booking sites list it as "Sunwing Arguineguín Seafront".
Listings describe three outdoor pools, a tennis court, a fitness room, two restaurants and bars, and some all-inclusive rates. They disagree about the walk to the beach, so ask the hotel or check a map for your own legs. Because it is run by an operator, many guests book it as part of a package, which is why the package or book-it-yourself question matters here. The listing also mentions step-free paths to entrances and a pool access ramp, which is worth confirming if you need them; see accessible Arguineguín.
Radisson Blu Resort, Gran Canaria: the upmarket pick
Radisson's address is La Verga s/n, between Arguineguín and Patalavaca, with beach access to the Patalavaca and Amadores side. It lists 189 rooms and suites, and booking sites describe sea-view standard rooms, junior suites with garden views, and larger suites. Listings mention two outdoor pools, a spa and an international restaurant. Radisson lists the hotel as five-star; that comes from Radisson and booking sites, not from the Canary register.
The name causes confusion. The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Gran Canaria Mogán is a different, larger hotel at Puerto de Mogán, with 422 rooms. If you are comparing prices, check the town in the address. Our guide to Puerto de Mogán's hotels covers that one: hotels in Puerto de Mogán.
Servatur Green Beach: apartments with hotel service
Servatur Green Beach is an aparthotel on the Patalavaca seafront with 232 apartments, studios and one-bedroom units with a balcony or terrace. It has a 24-hour reception, parking, a supermarket, a pool and solarium area, and a buffet restaurant with sea views. The pool area opens straight onto the seafront promenade, which runs to Las Marañuelas, Patalavaca and Anfi del Mar. Servatur gives about 10 to 15 minutes' walk, or under three minutes by car, to the beach at Anfi.
It sits between the town and Anfi, with the Patalavaca beach close by. For the area see Patalavaca, and for kitchen-or-hotel questions see apartments, aparthotels or hotels.
Arguineguín Park by Servatur: the quiet residential option
Arguineguín Park is a residential complex of 14 five-storey buildings with five types of home, all with air conditioning, wifi, kitchen and living room. It has a main pool, a children's pool and an adults-only pool, a bar, a Spar supermarket and underground parking, free subject to availability. Servatur puts it about ten minutes' walk from the beach and the town centre, where the Tuesday market is held. It is the pick for families, friends sharing, and people who want to live like locals rather than sit in a hotel.
Anfi del Mar: apartments in a timeshare resort
Anfi del Mar has four clubs (Anfi Beach Club, Club Puerto Anfi, Club Monte Anfi and Club Gran Anfi), described as beach-front apartments with kitchen, air conditioning and wifi, a shopping centre, a marina and a health centre. It is a timeshare resort, and the company is open about selling membership. A hotel-style option, Anfi Emerald Club, is in the Tauro valley, not at Patalavaca or Anfi del Mar. Two Radissons on one coast: the Radisson Blu Resort in Patalavaca (189 rooms) and the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa at Puerto de Mogán (422 rooms) are separate hotels, roughly 16 km apart by road. Check the town and the room count in the address before you pay.
