Puerto de Mogán's municipal market runs every Friday from 09:00 to 15:30, and its craft market every Monday from 08:30 to 14:30. From Arguineguín it is about 16 km by road, or a bus or boat ride.
Puerto de Mogán has two markets a week, on different days and with different characters. The municipal market is on Fridays, 09:00 to 15:30, spread around the car park and the Castillete esplanade. The craft market is on Mondays, 08:30 to 14:30, at the top of the car park. Both times come from Mogán council's tourism office. From Arguineguín the harbour village is about 16 km by road, roughly 21 minutes in a car without traffic, and you can also go by Global bus or by boat. If you only want one, the Friday market is the bigger of the two.
The Friday municipal market
The council describes it as a picturesque market with a wide variety of products. It runs every Friday from 09:00 to 15:30 and is not confined to one square: the listed locations are from Avenida Los Marreros, the top of the car park, Plaza Pedro Betancort and the Castillete esplanade. In practice that means stalls strung between the car park and the waterfront. The council does not publish a stall-by-stall list, so all that is known about what you will find is "a wide variety of products". It is a general market in the same spirit as the Tuesday one in Arguineguín.
The Monday craft market
The Monday market is smaller and more specialised. The council describes it as a craft market for leather goods, ceramics, costume jewellery and glass figures. It is held every Monday from 08:30 to 14:30 at the "alto del parking", the upper part of the car park. If you want handmade souvenirs rather than a general browse, Monday is the day.
How current are these times?
Both council pages were checked on 24 October 2026. The Friday page was last edited in February 2023 and the Monday page in October 2022, so neither is a promise about a particular week. If you are planning a trip around a public holiday, ask at your accommodation or phone the council. The council pages do not say whether the markets run on holidays that fall on a Monday or a Friday.

Friday boat to Puerto de Mogán. The 10:15 boat from Arguineguín puts you in the village well within market hours, and the last listed boat back leaves at 15:45, which is just after the market closes at 15:30. Líneas Blue Bird's port page also says extra sailings run on market days, but it is an older page, so confirm.
Parking and the car park market site
The market occupies the car park, so on Fridays and Mondays you cannot count on using it. Puerto de Mogán has a paid blue-zone system: a 2022 report counted 543 metered spaces plus about 130 resident-only spaces around the Castillete esplanade and Rivera del Carmen. Current charges are not published, so read the meters when you arrive. Arriving by bus or boat avoids the question.
What to do after the market
The village is a destination in its own right: a harbour whose marina holds a Blue Flag for 2026–27 (the flag is for the marina, not the beach), and a beach of about 209 m of golden sand. Visitors often call it "Little Venice", a popular nickname, not an official name. See Puerto de Mogán and Puerto de Mogán beach. If you are comparing bases, Arguineguín, Puerto Rico or Puerto de Mogán weighs them up. For more events in the year, there is festivals and events through the year, including the Fiesta del Carmen sea procession.
