Transport, boat trips and the big parks all have published prices, and they are collected here with their source and date. Coffee, beer, a plate of fish and a sunbed do not, so we say what is known and send you to the menu board.
The honest answer to "what does a holiday in Arguineguín cost?" is that some prices are published to the cent and some are not published at all. The ones you can check are transport, boat trips and the big attractions: the airport bus is €4.95, a boat from Arguineguín to Anfi del Mar is €5 one way, a two-hour dolphin trip is €35 for an adult, and a day at Palmitos Park starts at €39. Cafés, bars and most sunbed hirers do not publish prices, so this page does not invent them.
Every figure below is tied to an operator or official page and to the date it was checked (October 2026). Where the operator gives no year, we say so. Day-to-day budgeting for a long stay lives in the cost of living guide, and what a meal and a tip look like is covered in eating out: prices, tipping and customs.
The quick price list
| What | Price | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Bus, airport to Arguineguín (lines 90 and 91) | €4.95 | AENA, undated page |

| Boat, Arguineguín to Anfi del Mar | €5 single, €8 return | Líneas Salmón, year not stated |
| Boat, Arguineguín to Puerto de Mogán | €15 single, €21 return | Líneas Salmón, year not stated |
| Dolphin trip from Arguineguín (about 2 hours) | €35 adult, €25 child (6–12) | Líneas Salmón, season not stated |
| Palmitos Park, one day | from €39 adult, €29 child (5–10) | Park's 2026 price page |

| Activity Park, Puerto Rico | day pass from €9 | Operator's site, date unknown |

Treat the table as a guide and the operator's own page as the final word: all of these can change, and several operators do not date their pages.
Buses: the cheap way to move
From Gran Canaria Airport the direct line 91 and the semi-direct line 90 both reach Arguineguín for €4.95, according to AENA's airport bus page, paid to the driver. Stay on line 91 and Patalavaca is €5.25, Puerto Rico €5.45 and Puerto de Mogán €6.80. Going the other way on the same coast, Global publishes no simple fare table for Arguineguín to Las Palmas, because fares are worked out between tariff stops; enter your stops on Global's fare page or ask the driver.
You can pay with cash, a bank card or a phone on board. For a stay of a few weeks the stored-value TransGC card (€5 to issue, bonus credit of 20 to 40 per cent on top-ups) can work out cheaper; the bus guide explains lines, stops and the card in full. The resident-only bono is not for visitors.
Airport to Arguineguín: €4.95 against a meter. The bus fare is published; a taxi fare to Arguineguín is not. Taxis run on a meter with a published airport tariff (day flag-down €3.85 plus €1.35 per km, a €2.10 airport supplement), so the final bill depends on the route and the traffic. The comparison is in the taxi guide and the airport transfer guide.
Boats along the coast
Líneas Salmón publishes its fares for adults (13 and over), with children 6 to 12 paying less and under-sixes free. Single and return, for an adult:
- Arguineguín – Anfi del Mar: €5 / €8 (child €3.50 / €5)
- Arguineguín – Puerto Rico: €8 / €14 (child €5 / €8)
- Arguineguín – Puerto de Mogán: €15 / €21 (child €8 / €15)
The second operator on the coast, Líneas Blue Bird, runs similar hop-on routes, but its fares are not clearly given on its timetable page, so none are quoted. Routes, harbours and the sea-view argument for taking the boat one way are in the boats guide. For whale and dolphin trips as a topic, including the rules the boats must follow, see dolphin and whale watching.
Parks and days out
Palmitos Park (open daily 10:00–18:00) lists €39 for an adult and €29 for a child aged 5 to 10 at the ticket desk, with online fares from €35 and €25, free entry for under-threes and a family pack of two adults and two children at €118. Online tickets with a chosen date vary in price, so the figure on the page is a minimum. Aqualand Maspalomas charges non-residents €41 for an adult at the gate (€31 for a child, €17 for a mini, €31 for a senior) and from €32 online. A "2 Parks Ticket" for both is €62 for an adult. Sunbeds at Aqualand are extra.
Both parks give Canary Islands residents a lower tariff, which does not apply to visitors. More on each: Palmitos Park and water parks near Arguineguín. In Puerto Rico, the Activity Park has a day pass from €9 and a week pass from €18 (children aged 3 to 13 are its target group, according to the Cabildo).
Coffee, beer and meals: what is not published
No official body publishes a price for a coffee or a caña in Arguineguín, and individual cafés rarely put menus online. We would rather leave a gap than quote a figure from a holiday-price survey that was compiled for another resort. What you can do is read the menu board before you sit down. In the Canaries general goods and services carry IGIC at 7 per cent, not mainland VAT. The rate is not a price, but it explains why Canary receipts show IGIC rather than VAT. Some goods, such as spirits and tobacco, carry higher IGIC rates.
Where a price is on public record, we give it on the restaurant's own page. For the pattern of a lunch-menu, service charges and tipping, use the eating-out guide. For fresh fish by weight and supermarket shopping, the shopping guide is the better place to start.
Sunbeds, parasols and beach extras
The Mogán beach listings for Arguineguín, Patalavaca, Anfi and Puerto Rico say sunbeds and parasols can be hired, but none gives a price, and the Patalavaca page mentions online sunbed booking. Hirers set their own prices and they can differ between neighbouring beaches and between summer and winter. Ask before you sit down, and look at the board on the hirer's stand. The free option is your own towel: see free things to do in Arguineguín.
Fuel for a hire car
Canary fuel is cheaper than in the UK and on the Spanish mainland because of lower taxes, and a temporary 0 per cent IGIC applies to fuel from October to December 2026. A press report on Ministry data put the average petrol 95 price in the Canaries at €1.448 a litre on 12 August 2026, before that tax measure, so treat it as a reference point, not today's price; the pump shows the real figure.
How to budget without a price survey
Fix the prices you can fix, and give the rest a margin. Transport and attractions come first, because they can be added up from the list above: two airport bus rides are about €10, a return boat to Puerto de Mogán is €21, a dolphin trip for two adults is €70. Accommodation sits outside this page; where to stay covers areas and budgets. Food and drink are the line that varies most with how you eat, so check two or three menu boards on your first evening and multiply from there. A planner for the whole trip is on the list of tools on this site as the holiday budget calculator.
How you pay matters too: pay in euros, not sterling, when a terminal offers the choice. The details are in money, cards and cash machines.
